Alas! Block leave is coming to a close.. It's finally Sunday, and my days at Sispec are finally upon me.
C's over in Bali (like finally, huh? =P), doing her water sports, relaxing at a spa, having her girl talk with Audrey, stuffing herself with (hopefully really mouth-watering) Balinese cuisine, taking lots of pics. Etcetcetc.. You get the point. Haha..
It's been a pretty great block leave (my only block leave ever, so I hear).
The leave didnt start off all that well.. A little friction with the parents, but all that sorted itself out eventually. Went with c and roy to the NTU openhouse, and then alone with c for the NUS one. Watched SOMEONE doze off during the talks =.= Well, I admit I dozed off at one point too.. Haha..
The Malaysia day trip with c, roy and mt was called off, unfortunately, in view of the NUS openhouse, but we made up for it (if only a little) with a pigout session at Bedok Market. This also doubled as a send-off for Roy, as he's finally going to his diving unit, and MUCH more importantly: shaving his head like the rest of us! Muahahaha! Welcome roy.. =P
wt and xz also joined us -- and weren't all too happy that our first gathering in months was spent in a eating place that "lacked a little... /gets accidentally pushed by a passer-by carrying a plate of chicken rice/ ...class".. Haha!
We went to roy's place after that, bringing shuiling along, so she could see roy's dog, Furry (real original name, roy =.=)
Anyway, the rest of the week was pretty fun too, finding c after work, picking her up from work once, joining her for lunch for another shortly before joining Bucky and the guys for a s31 hangout! (which i covered two posts ago, so go back there and look it up).
After that, not much happened. Basically sorted out my referal letter bit, and now im just working on my personal statement. Spent a little time helping chu with the packing up for her Bali trip.
Then sent her off on Saturday morning. Funny how it seems much longer than just yesterday...
Oh well! Tml i'll be off to my new home in Sispec! Which is FREAKING OVER AT JOO KOON!! The closest mrt station I live near is Pasir Ris, dammit!! =X Other side of the green line =.= Yeah, for those hermits out there who dont know yet, Joo Koon is the new and improved (i.e. even more distant) Boon Lay.
Crap.
Haha.. Maybe my parents'll be REAL sweet and send me there if they're free. Though that's not really nice to ask for, since the journey's THAT long..
