Got up at 5.30 a.m., and got prepped for sch.. I pulled on my VJ uniform shirt, pinned up the VJ sch badge, CTC badge and CT nametag. Slipping on the (now REALLY baggy -.-) school pants, i slid the signature red-with-2-parallel-white stripes-on-it belt, and put on my Asics running shoes. Leaving the house, the last thing I did was to throw my signature over-sized Zinc backpack on me -- of course only slung over my left shoulder -- before hopping onto the car.
Only difference was that I ended up at NUS Lt 28, instead of in V45 in VJC =.=
Yep, today we went to commemorate Teacher's Day in advance! (cos tml's Anatomy Lab Prac, so somehow they din want us to wear our old sch uniform there) Which reminds me: tml we're gonna cut up some upper limb of some ex-person!!! =/ but somehow when the cadaver's w/o the skin, i dont think it's as hard to cut him up. I suppose with the skin on, you can still imagine he's alive and mb on some general anaethetics..
Anyway! Happy belated bday WT!! I know you totally dont check out my blog, but anywho, Happy 19th dude! =)
Oh, and i think the Armoured dudes have gone off for overseas training.. Classified location, time, duration and manpower. Ha. (I'm SO NOT letting Mindef screw me for releasinng info they deemed to be restricted) Anyway, be safe guys! Though I spent the shortest time with yall, i think I bonded with yall the most (along with the Sispec dudes). And besides, your stuff is the most dangerous.. seriously. The same amour that protects us from enemy fire can at the same time cause various forms of blunt force trauma, asphyxiation, crush injuries and whatever other bad stuff that you would expect a 10 million tonne vehicle to do to your fragile human body.
So take care guys.. We'll go out for an Armoured outing when you're back!! =D
... An armoured outing sounds cooler than it really is, actually =.= but anyway! god bless you guys.. I've got a feeling it'll be really dangerous =/
Okay, back to my study of how the humerus articulates with the glenoid cavity, and that it's stabilized and moved by the 4 rotator cuff muscles: Supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor and subscapularis. And that the supraspinatus, infraspinatus, and teres minor are attached to the superior, middle and inferior facet of the greater tubercle, while the subscapularis is attached to the lesser tubercle.
... for the layperson, I just described muscles stabilizing the shoulder joint. Somebody help me X_x haha..
