well! it's been an interesting month, I must say.. Didnt really turn out exactly the way i intended, but ah well, I'm alr not in army, no? who can really complain about that. Haha.. And besides, all things considered, the one month break wasnt TOO bad.. =)
NUS makes us do SO much paperwork for registration, but i guess it's from all the loans and bonds stuff la.. A bit of a hassle though =/ and! i din get my hostel placing! Grr.. guess it's mrt travelling from now on. from pasir ris to dover =(
Din manage to go for the Medicine orientation camp cos of registration. Then cldnt go for the Rag preparation stuff cos my grandma was in hospital.. Critical condition O_o we were all really prepared for her to go anytime. But, miraculously, she pulled through! More miraculous is that this is the 2nd time she's pulled out of a near-death situation... amazing huh? Haha.. my grandma, the survivor.. aie, but she's not out of the woods yet la. Still in hospital
Oh, Ive alr applied for my laptop =) cant wait to get it!! a delicious 2.8GHz processor and (allegedly) one of the best graphic cards around.. nice.. I cant believe it's spd is faster than my PC lah... technology these days..
Havent been ard in NUS much yet (esp mssing out on the Rag preparations), but Jolie's (med senior) still really nice about helping me select wad books i shld get to start off on for the course. Thx! Haha.. If not, i'd really be lost, what with not going back to sch and hearing lil snippets of advice from seniors during the Rag prep...
Anw, now that her work's finally over, and the SMU camps are history (at least till i start school), and with her Bangkok trip behind her, I CAN FINALLY SPEND SOME REAL TIME WITH MS. OUYANG =)
Yeah, she fell sick for awhile, but even then, i still managed to spend the whole day with her, even though I was mainly just looking after her. Grr.. it's cos she's had so many camps and the holiday to bangkok all lumped tgt la..
yknow wad's the funniest thing about the whole being-a-nice-guy-looking-after-my-sick-gf? I was giving her medicine and doing the cool wet towel thing to bring down her fever. Budden quite boring to juz attend to a sleeping person all day long. So i ended up climbing onto the bed to snooze as well =.= wl.. look after patient until join them in slping. Hehe.. guess thr's only one patient i'm allowed to do tt for, huh =P
We went to Sakura (with her family) a few days back for dinner. OMGdness.. the. food. is. GOOD.. haha.. okay, it wasnt spectacular fare, but still, i got to eat my unagi & various Jap food, so im happy =) We went to this photography shop also.. pretty fun thinking about taking tt kinda photo tgt.
...though it's just thinking about it la. Haha.. you ppl out there who know me wld know I dont have the ka-ching to pay a professional to take a couple of *those* pics.. heck, your's truly even used to hesitate at taking Neoprints back in the day cos of the cost, so why shld this be that much different? Haha.. Though, this'll all change when I start work!! Muahahaha..!!!
