Wow this weekend was.. awesome!!! haha
went out with chu (and roy and his gf) for dinner at Bedok marketplace. The food was o-okay I guess (i din get to eat till I was full, but mb tt's cos I've got an insatiable gut).. then again, I got to eat my oyster omelette without oyster (cool how both of us like it that way =D), so it's all good.. haha
But after that we went to the nearby pasar malam.. Mengting (Roy's gf) went to look at some mole-removal guy's stall.
First thing that struck me was the fact that he was doing some kinda surgery in THAT kinda place. His form of antiseptic at the end of the procedure? Aloe Vera gel (bought at your friendly local pharmacy)
But that's kinda besides the point. The guy turned out to be able to read fortunes from your moles or from your face shape!! The people who know me would know me as the skeptical type when it comes to this kinda mojo-jojo, so I stood behind as the guy told our fortunes. But anyway, he still decided to tell me mine =.=
Mole-dude: Your face tells me you can study very well.
Me: Uh huh. Yep. /disinterested/
Mole-dude: Judging by your facial features, you're gonna be a doctor
Us (collectively): Wow! O.o [omgwtfbbq!!]
HAha.. Yep.. somehow he could get all that from my face. Well, if you wanna argue it, (and believe me, skeptical me does), you could say that "being a doctor" is actually associated with studying veryvery hard, to most people. So in that sense, it makes sense that he said I would be a doctor, considering his 1st comment abt me.
Anyway, he kept going about some other stuff before he pointed to chu and went:
Mole-dude (to me): You should marry her. She brings you good fortune..
Me: /Laughs!!/ seriously?
Chu: You mean I'll bring fortune to anyone who marries me, or just him?
Mole-dude: Not bad wad, you two look quite pei what... no? Got fu1 qi1 xiang4
Me: Aiya! /Facepalm/
Chu: /THE look/ why? dowan ah?
Hahaha...
Anyway, Sunday, I tell you, was awesom-er-est! =D
Chu made pancakes for me when I came over! As a surprise! For ME! =D
WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! /bliss/
and I tell you, it was awesome =) Oh? I mentioned it alr? Well, yeah, it was SO awesome =D
Pancakes, with banana bits, and lots of love.. Hoho.. /intoxicated/
